Uptown Pilates offers instruction in several formats: Private Sessions, Semi-Private Sessions, Mat, Tower, and Reformer Classes. Each session lasts fifty-five minutes and is taught by one of our highly skilled and thoughtful certified instructors. All sessions and classes will provide you with a total body exercise which will dramatically improve your strength, flexibility, and posture. If you have never done Pilates before, we highly encourage taking 2–4 private sessions before entering any of the group classes.


One-on-one sessions are the most effective way to focus on your unique needs, injuries or personal goals. During these sessions you will have the opportunity to utilize all Pilates’ apparatuses (Reformer, Cadillac, Chairs, and Barrels) in addition to incorporating Pilates mat work. These sessions are highly recommended for first time clients and people who want to receive the full benefits of the Authentic Pilates™ method. This is the best way to become familiar with the terminology and movement of Pilates and begin your practice.


An opportunity to explore and “own” your individual Pilates program while receiving technical input from a shared instructor. Similar to the Private sessions, work is done on all of the Pilates equipment and mat. It is strongly recommended to take private sessions before starting semi-private sessions. Limited to 2 participants.
