CLASS LEVELS

Level I: Suited to clients new to the classical Pilates method - you’re still learning the foundational Pilates principles and exercises and navigating the use of apparatus. Also suitable for prenatal clients and clients that may need modifications. *For brand new practitioners, we recommend completing 10-15 Level I classes before moving up to the next level.

Level II: Suited to clients with previous Pilates experience - you’re familiar with Pilates lingo and the basics, and are ready to learn intermediate exercises and variations. This class focuses more heavily on flow of movement, and moves at a slightly faster pace to keep up the intensity. Best for clients who are injury-free or know basic modifications, and prenatal clients with previous Pilates experience (through the second trimester only). *We recommend completing 20 Level II classes before moving up to the next level.

Level III: Suited to clients with extensive classical Pilates experience - you’re a solid intermediate level practitioner that transitions smoothly and efficiently between exercises, and you want to learn advanced variations and exercises to intensify your practice. Advanced exercises tend to be more acrobat, and focus on balance and stability. This class is not suitable for prenatal clients or those with injuries.

Level IV: Suited to advanced classical Pilates practitioners only - you’re familiar with the classical Pilates order on the Reformer, and regularly practice intermediate/advanced work on the Tower/Mat. *These classes are not available to book online - instructor permission is required.

**Prenatal Clients** - All prenatal clients must have a doctor’s permission to practice Pilates. If you are brand new to Pilates, we recommend completing at least 4 private sessions before joining any classes. If you have previous Pilates experience, you may join group classes through the second trimester. During the third trimester, we strongly recommend that all prenatal clients take private sessions only.
